Home Specs About
Project Scorpio is the latest. As for how much Scorpio will cost, or when it will be released, all Microsoft has said for now is: "We are still a consumer product. We want to hit the price-points where consumers want to purchase this. It's about balancing the two." That said, given all the
"premium"
components inside Scorpio, I'd wager it's going to be pretty darn expensive. At least as expensive as the $499/£429 the Xbox One launched at, if not more.
The Xbox Scorpio appeals to certain group of people.
If you have a 4K TV, or are thinking about getting one,
then you might want to get it since the xbox can output 4K visuals.
Another reason is if you are one of those people that need all the pixels,
and were upset since the original xbox one only output 900p,
you would most likely want an upgrade since the Scorpio will output 1080p.
Finally if You enjoy the new VR (Virtual Reality), and you don't want to blow
a whole paycheck on a PC (Personal Computer), then the Scorpio would be a
good buy for you since they built the Scorpio to handle VR.
